This past Saturday for family ministry our whole team came
out to our care point. It was a fun day of games and sweets (candy).  We surprised our Gogos (ladies that cook).
They were delighted to have us. Some of the girls gathered the children up to
sing silly songs. Others painted faces and gave out sweets. Ben made all of the
children balloon animals and hats. The young children enjoyed popping them. We
acted out the crucifixion, and then had the funniest relay races ever. In the
first race we had partners run with a balloon in between them. The second race
was the crab crawl. The third we had the children put on big skirts, a shirt,
and a hat over their own clothes. They had to race to put on the crazy clothes
and run to the other side and immediately take the silly clothes off and the
next person went until a team finished first. The little ones even participated
in all of the races. They had big efforts and were so cute racing to the finish
giggling so hard. We enjoyed bringing our team to meet all of our precious
children and Gogos. It was a great day to pour in a lot of fun and love.
