It just seems like this week so much has been revealed about the works of the enemy here in Swaziland. Satan has told the people here so many lies. Praise the Lord that God raises up a standard against it. We proclaim that Swaziland is a kingdom of light. Sunday night a lady was screaming on the road in front of our home. A man was beating her without any regards that we were watching. For many in Swaziland they see that beating your wife comes along with marriage. It is a lie straight from hell itself. Some are okay with it. No one deserves to be beaten. Our boys went out to talk with the man and we brought the woman inside the gate to keep her safe. Some of the girls helped her to the shower, gave her clothes, and listened to her story. She was drunk from a bar. She has had a hard life. Her name is Noshloshlo. She is 24 years old and an orphan. The Lord showed us how much he loves. He brought her to us for protection, to show her love, and tell her that there is hope. The Lord taught me so much. We all gathered and prayed for her. God revealed that she was possessed by many demons. They manifested themselves. They just laughed at us as we prayed. We were not praying in the full authority Christ has given us. We were weak and doubting. To me it was a sad and hard lesson. We are they body of Christ and we possess the authority of Christ. We fasted for her the next day. I am believing that she will come back to our home and that we will see deliverance in her life. The Lord also taught me about the gift of intercession. God has really been speaking to me a lot in the Old Testament lately. So in Judges it says many times about how "the Spirit of the Lord came upon him"… it just stands out so much. I began to ask the Lord what that fully means. And gifts of the spirit have been explained to me that they are gifts that you give away. Makes sense right? A Gift is something you give away. The Lord can give you the gift of healing and you pray over someone and give it away. The Lord hands it down for that appointed time and you give it away. So when we were praying for Noshloshlo the Spirit of the Lord came upon me and prompted me to pray for her. Although I hesitated I was obedient and prayed for her with the strength and compassion that only comes from the Lord. So the Lord didn't just tell me about it he showed me.

Even though we did not see her delivered at that time we all learned important lessons. Many have never encountered spiritual warfare before much less been taught about it back home. I've never had to pray over someone demon possessed until last semester. But what I am getting at is that the Lord teaches us to be alert and ready at all times for every circumstance. I wish we could be raised in the Lord in such a way that we understand that darkness is real, but that we have full authority over all principalities and darkness because of Christ and what he accomplished on the cross. But no one wants to discuss the gifts of the spirit and spiritual warfare in our churches, because the church has falsely taught that it is chaotic and not relevant anymore. Let me just say that is a lie from hell itself. Satan doesn't want us to recognize and walk in the authority in Christ. He is happy that most of the body of Christ walks around luke- warm. I wish we could understand the importance of it, because it is totally relevant especially now. Jesus is alive and he lives in you!! Be aware. Be alert. Recognize the authority you have in Christ. You have the keys of the kingdom… use them. Praise and glory to God for all of the wonderful gifts (of the spirit) he has bestowed on us!

My friend Treasure was telling me about how elections are coming up in Swaziland. It is not good, because these men use witchcraft to get elected. Not all of the officials do it. Elections occur every five years here in Swaziland. Although there is a King, there are also prime ministers and other officials. There is a lot of corruption. They kill people to get body parts to use in witchcraft. So they kill anyone even children. It mostly happens in the rural areas at homesteads, because it is quiet there and spread out. It is so devastating. No one is coming against this awful crime, because it involves high officials. So please partner with me in prayer against the witchcraft and God's Justice. Pray that God will place righteous men in those seats. In Jesus' Name!
