Hey everybody! I love you and miss you all! Im sad because I dont have much time to write and tell you details. I wish i could tell you so much more, but I am putting an insert of my email to my mom. I wish i could show you pictures but that probably wont happen soon. Please pray for a girl on our team. her name is martha griffin. she is very sick and in lots of pain. she is in the hospital right now. they took her lastnight. lift her up! thank you

As you know we are in Swazi. We are heading back to South Africa on Monday. Please pray that we have a safe drive and our cars make it. We have to drive 5 hours with 60 people in a couple of cars. :) Swazi has been amazing! I am leaning toward coming back here after christmas. It is beautiful! just wait until you see pictures! The sunsets on top of these amazing mountain/rolling hills... its def. the Lord's handy work! our days here are set up where we have breakfast at 8, quiet time from 9-930, session from 945-12, lunch at 12, ministry from 1-4, and free time from 5-7 plus chores, dinner at 7 and another session afterwards. Ministry has been amazing... I dont see how anyone would be the same after walking on to the "ministry field"... we had the opportunity to visit 2 care points(which are places where many children are fed "pop"(a corn paste that looks like mashed potatoes) most of the kids are orphans or kids coming from school... who this might be their only meal.) Monday we went to our first care point.when we arrived the children would run up to us and put their hands up for us to hold them. the first day I sat with this little boy he was only like 1 or 2 years old. he was so precious. he fell asleep in my lap after he ate. They all just want to be held and loved! We went to another care point on tuesday. we were also able to see "the D team"... which is groups of two swazi people who are strong young men and women of God who AIM has trained to disciple the children at the care points. It was awesome! they sang songs with them. taught them a bible verses and stuff. on that particular day they taught them the verse in exodus about you shall have no other gods before me. it was really funny a little toddler ran up to one of the swazi women crying... they asked him why and he said there are too many white people! haha! It was really funny!day three we went to the squatter camp- which is a little village where people have settle near the dump... and its sad bc we are stay in the nicer part of town in a suburb in a guest house and its only a five minute walk from the squatter. so you go from really nice houses to poor houses and a dump. there is also a place right outside the suburb called the tree line.. its where little girls go to give themselves away for money for their family. Im talking like little 5 year old girls. its so sad. WE had a big feast last night with the people at the squatter camp. we bought a cow and gave it to them to prepare. then we had a big dance party. the little girls play with my hair and they dont braid it like the do everybody else's they just try to flatten it with their hands.. its really funny bc my hair is out of control! haha i got a picture with the dead cow head! I washed my clothes lastnight in a bucket for the first time and it wont be the last. yesterday we went to the hospital... now i understand in a better measure your ministry(my mom's)ย at work. I fist walked into the childrens ward and prayed and talked with some mothers and babies. these babies were just a few months old with phemiona, asthma, and one was premature and tiny. me and another girl walked to the maturnity ward. we were able to share the joy of new life with these mothers. a few of the women had had thier babies the day before and were leaving that day... they looked so good to have just given birth! I gave one mother my bible bc she asked for something to read. then a nurse came up to me and asked for a bible and i told here i would bring her one back today. so my goal today is to buy a new bible for her maybe a few more. pray i find the bible book store. later i walked to the women's ward. many sick women are their dying with aids. its very sad me and joie prayed for two women as we were leaving that had aids. I spent most of my time in the back with a lady who was having chest pains. she had been there for a week. at first i walked up to her and she tried to cover her face and ignore me but i sat down on the bed beside her and tried to talk to her anyways. she had her son sitting at the beside. at one point i asked her about pain and that opened the door for her to talk to me. we talked for a minute and i prayed for her. then she told me she was scared to ask for medicine for her son because she was already the one there sick. so i went to the nurses station to ask for her. her son was given medicine. then she asked me to pray for him and pray specifically about him and God. Hoq awesome is that prayer request? If all mothers would have that kinda heart for their children! So my prayer is that he will grow up to be a mighty man of God. I think he is only 7. So i loved the hospital ministry. i love that i have no idea what to say...but it is Christย who lives in me.. he allows me to be His hand and feet!

I love you all! please continue to pray!

ps i bought a cell phone. ask my mom for details to contact me. she knows the number and stuff. If you call me i can receive free incoming calls. and its only charges you a little bit if you call me with a world calling card.
