As our time is coming to a close at the care-point we are looking into ways we can continue to support the children. Since the care-point is sponsored by Children's Hope Chest, an organization partnered with AIM, the care-point and each individual child is suppose to be sponsored by a church in the States. I really like Children's Hope Chest and AIM, because I can see the actual fruit of what they proclaim they are doing. Lindsey, our parents, and I don't want to leave a deficit with the Children we have been teaching, so we wish to make sure their school fees are met for years to come and we want to be updated on the children's status. We hope to work something out with the staff here in Swaziland. There are six children that have been consistently coming over the past three months. They are all between the ages of 2 and 6. These are their names:
Tandzi Nkonde -She is a brilliant five year old. She love pictures and smiles a lot.
Faneliso Mkhaliphi -Her mother doesn't know her age, but I would guess she is five. She is precious and craves a lot of love. Her mother is mentally challenged. She is very hyper active and silly. I know she will do well especially if she gets into school early.
Nokwanda Mkhatjwa -She is six years old and takes care of her brother and sister (the 2 listed below) when her mother isn't home, which is very often. She is very quiet and has progressed so much in the time we have spent with her.
Nomvuyo Mkhatjwa -She is four years old. She is shy and sweet. She has done very well the past few months. Nomvuyo loves to grab you by the hand and run.
Sethu Mkhatjwa- He is about 2 years old and a mess. We have spoiled him rotten. He loves to dance and has the funniest personality. He has stolen all of our hearts.
Owethu ( I do not have his sir name yet) - Owethu just turned 4 in March. He is very brilliant for his age. He speaks good English and excels at all the work we throw at him. He is so handsome and precious.
So by next school year most will be at an age to attend pre-school or school. We hope that the informal schooling has prepared them for their future learning. Many of the children are so brilliant, and we wish to see them succeed in life. They really are the future that could change Swaziland. We pray that they will be the seeds of righteousness that will change a stagnant kingdom into a kingdom of righteousness and light. We also pray that they will be an educated people to turn around the economy with new ideas and jobs In Jesus Name. Please continue to pray for our babies that are so dear to our Lord's heart. Pray that a partnership can be worked out for their provision.
